National Shura

The National Shura is the governing body that maintains all active colonies, chapters, and members. The National Shura is currently composed of the following members:

  • National Ameer (President)
  • National Vice President
  • National Director of Branding and Communication
  • National Director of Finance
  • National Director of Recruitment
  • National Director of Membership
  • National Wazir (Warden)

The National Shura is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the National Fraternity. Additionally, all national projects (within the Organization as well as projects partnered with other organizations), fundraisers, conferences, and activities affiliated with the National Fraternity are regulated and overseen by the National Shura. Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing body that oversees the National Shura. The Board plays a hands off role, as its sole purpose is to ensure that the original vision and goal of the Alpha Lambda Mu Fraternity is kept intact and maintained. Members of the Board of Trustees are comprised of:

  • Executive Ameer
  • Executive Membership Authority
  • Executive Ombudsman
  • Executive Brand Manager

The National Shura shall be overseen by the Board of Trustees and will complete the related tasks to maintain the Fraternity on a national level. The National Shura is to report to the Board of Trustees periodically with major structural, organizational, and visionary developments.
